seesters

Waaah. Flatmate KR came home this evening to the sad lump on the couch that was me. She gave me a shoulder/neck/scalp massage as we chatted. (Love. Such love.) In the hour since, the world has seemed a brighter, better place.

Better yet, tomorrow she gets to sever ties with the bane of her theatrical existence, Ms. Namedropthenbackstabsaidname. Claaa-haaas-ssy.

This. Theees eez gooot, ahhl.

  1. Oh Lan, just imagine what it'll be like once Jasmine is old enough to blog. She's so funny already. We can shape her wee, young mind. You. Me. Girltime, grand.

    I miss that little turkey.

  2. What am I saying? Her mind isn't wee - for her head is like ours.

This is why all other kids are drawn to her - the magnetic pull. And that other 'personality' stuff. But I'm less familiar with that.

  3. It's like LZP's mom said, "People who have big heads have a lot of charisma." Or something to that effect. I always misquote her.

Also, I hadn't considered the gravitational-pull aspect. But now I have. AND HOW!

I can't wait til Jasmine's old enough to blog, either. Although, by that time, it may be more direct-brain-uplink technology than the Fleenterveb. In the meantime, I am beginning to construct a Brain-O mold for us to put her tiny mind in.

  4. Yeah! Brainmolds! In the sense of a shaping device and not fungal! Yeeeaaahh!

Also, I believe it's LZP's grandmother who has this wise faith in the power of big heads.

  6. Your brain is otherwise occupied coming up with its own, glorious language and defending itself from my choice sushi metaphors.
